Are you smarter than satan?

Do you even have your armor on right?
God describes our enemies four ways—we are up against formidable spiritual rulers, authorities, cosmic powers, and spiritual forces. This enemy will use whatever he can to destroy anything of God … His creation, His will, His people. You. Me. No one is safe from his reach here on this planet even though God only allows him a short reach. We will talk more about that later. But for now, suffice it to say, evil is against you and will be until you die. But you can overcome evil because of Christ.
Satan is smarter than you alone. He knew the Word before the Word became flesh.
In 1 Peter 5:8, we see that satan prowls around like a roaring lion. Satan is a liar and always has been. He is not a lion. Christ is the roaring lion. Christ is the Lion of Judah. Christ is Aslan in C.S. Lewis’s The Chronicles of Narnia. The enemy is nothing like Christ. He is the absolute opposite of Christ. His power is not comparable to that of Christ. But his powers are not something you should go up against on your own. That is why you and I need the armor of God, each piece of which represents a major attribute of who Jesus Christ is and what He has to offer you. Put your armor on right!
The enemy acts like a lion. But Jesus Christ is the Lion of Judah.
